THE EndoscopyMD QUALITY REPAIR PROCESS

To ensure the highest quality repair and the best value to our customers, EndoscopyMD conducts a courtesy quality evaluation/inspection of your instrument when it arrives at one of our service centers. Our repair processes adhere to stringent factory specifications, with standardized testing and evaluations along the way, as detailed below.

•1 Repair History: Upon arrival at EndoscopyMD a service order is opened and linked to the incoming air bill number for product tracking.

•2 Aeration (endoscopes): After product check-in, all endoscopes undergo an aeration (fluid evacuation) process. An aeration chamber is used to help remove residual fluid that may be present in the endoscope.

• Incoming Evaluation/Inspection: EndoscopyMD technicians perform a thorough analysis of the entire product and customer concerns are noted and addressed. For endoscopes, the inspector checks the optical, mechanical, functional and electronic systems of the instrument.

•4 Estimation: EndoscopyMD service advisor's review and examine the results from the incoming inspection to recommend appropriate repairs.

•5 Customer Approval: The customer is then contacted for repair approval. Contract/BPA/DLA customers are able to bypass this step and expedite repairs with pre-approved repair authorization.

•6 Product Repair: Each repair is performed to exacting Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards for product safety and reliability.  EndoscopyMD maintains the integrity of the equipment by utilizing parts, materials, tools, test fixtures equal to or exceeding the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

•7 Functional Testing: During each phase of the repair process, equipment undergoes extensive functional testing to ensure that it meets product specifications. Depending on the piece of equipment, functional tests might include air/water capacity, water and electrical leakage testing and an image quality evaluation.

•8 Final Inspection: After repair, every product is subjected to a comprehensive final inspection to ensure that it has been restored to original factory specifications.

•9 Quality Assurance: Random audits, based on statistical samplings of all work performed, are conducted throughout the day to recheck the work of the final inspectors.

•10 Shipping: Once the repair has been completed the repaired equipment ships back via UPS surface rate at no charge to the customer.
